Fire protection and sprinkler estimating
Division 21 fire suppression estimating: sprinkler pipe, heads, valves, standpipes and fire pumps taken off from fire protection drawings.
Fire protection contractors bid on tight schedules with layouts that are often still conceptual. We take off sprinkler piping, heads, valves, risers and standpipes from fire protection drawings, and price material and installation labor.
Our scope is estimating only. We do not design sprinkler systems or perform hydraulic calculations, so pricing is based on the layout shown on the drawings or a stated head-spacing assumption.

Fire Protection Estimating: common questions
Can't find your answer? Call (850) 343-4090 or email info@premiumestimatings.com.
Do you do hydraulic calculations?
No. We estimate fire protection scope from the drawings provided but do not design systems or run hydraulic calculations. Those must be done by a qualified fire protection designer.
Can you estimate from a design-build performance spec?
Yes, using an assumed head spacing and routing that we list in the clarifications.
