Earthwork and sitework estimating
Division 31 earthwork estimating: site clearing, cut and fill, excavation, trenching, grading, erosion control and foundation excavation with cubic-yard quantities.
Earthwork is priced in cubic yards, and the difference between existing and proposed grades is where the money is. We calculate cut and fill from the grading plans, then add the excavation, backfill, hauling and compaction the work requires.
Building pad, foundation excavation and utility trenching are measured separately, with erosion control and stabilization priced from the site plans.

Can't find your answer? Call (850) 343-4090 or email info@premiumestimatings.com.
How do you calculate cut and fill?
We compare existing and proposed surfaces from the grading plan to calculate cut and fill volumes, then apply shrink and swell factors.
