How to order an estimate
Send plans, approve a fixed quote, and receive a bid-ready estimate in Excel with marked-up drawings.
Four steps from plans to estimate
Send your plans
Email PDF drawings and specs, or share a Dropbox, Google Drive or bid-portal link. Bid sets, schematic, design development, construction documents and conceptual drawings all work.
Get a fixed quote
We review the set and reply with a price, turnaround time and delivery date for your scope. You approve before any work starts.
NDA and 50% deposit
We sign an NDA so your plans stay private. Work starts on a 50% deposit by card through our secure online checkout. A W-9 is available on request.
Receive your estimate
You get quantities and material and labor pricing in Excel, organized by CSI division, plus marked-up plans. The remaining 50% is due on delivery.
Simple, fixed pricing
Every project gets a fixed quote based on the scope and the size of the drawing set. Nothing is charged until you approve it.
- 50% deposit to start, 50% on delivery
- Secure online card payment
- W-9 provided on request
- First sample estimate available at half price for new clients
- Addenda and revisions quoted before we start them
Frequently asked questions
Can't find your answer? Call (850) 343-4090 or email info@premiumestimatings.com.
What file formats do you accept?
PDF drawings are best. We also work from DWG/DXF files and from plan links on bid portals, Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive. Include specifications and addenda if you have them.
How do you charge?
Each project gets a fixed quote based on the scope and the size of the drawing set. We take 50% to start and the remaining 50% when we deliver the estimate.
Do you offer free sample estimates?
We don't do free test estimates, but new clients can order a first sample estimate at half price to check our quality before committing to larger work.
What does the estimate include?
Quantities with waste factors, unit material and labor costs, equipment where relevant, subtotals by CSI division, markups for overhead, profit, insurance and contingency if you want them, and a summary sheet with cost per square foot.
Where does your pricing come from?
Unit costs are built from current material pricing and labor rates for the project's location. If you prefer, we can price with your own labor rates, crew productivity or supplier quotes.
