Building automation and integrated controls estimates
Division 25 integrated automation estimating: building automation systems, network equipment, controllers, sensors and integration of HVAC, lighting and security.
Division 25 brings building systems onto one automation network. On most projects it's priced as an allowance or a controls subcontract, but the point count, devices and wiring still have to be right.
We count controllers, sensors, actuators and network devices from the controls drawings and points list, and take off the low-voltage wiring and pathways that connect them.
Typical project types

What you receive
- Excel estimate organized by CSI division

Is building automation the same as HVAC controls?
HVAC controls are often specified in Division 23. Division 25 covers integrating several building systems on one network. We price whichever division the specifications use.
Can you price controls from a points list?
Yes. A points list is the best basis for a controls estimate, and we count devices and wiring from it.
