Quantity takeoffs measured right the first time
Measured quantities in PlanSwift and Bluebeam with colour-coded markups.
If you already have your own pricing, you may only need the quantities. Our takeoff service gives you a measured quantity sheet for any trade or the whole project, done in PlanSwift and Bluebeam Revu by estimators who do takeoffs every day.
Every count, length, area and volume is traced on the drawings and colour-coded by item, so you can open the marked-up PDF and see exactly what was measured. Quantities are listed in Excel with the units your trade prices in: SF, LF, SY, CY, EA, tons or squares.

Our process
Send your plans
Email PDF drawings and specs, or share a Dropbox, Google Drive or bid-portal link. Bid sets, schematic, design development, construction documents and conceptual drawings all work.
Get a fixed quote
We review the set and reply with a price, turnaround time and delivery date for your scope. You approve before any work starts.
NDA and 50% deposit
We sign an NDA so your plans stay private. Work starts on a 50% deposit by card through our secure online checkout. A W-9 is available on request.
Receive your estimate
You get quantities and material and labor pricing in Excel, organized by CSI division, plus marked-up plans. The remaining 50% is due on delivery.
Quantity Takeoff Services: common questions
Can't find your answer? Call (850) 343-4090 or email info@premiumestimatings.com.
What software do you use for takeoffs?
We use PlanSwift and Bluebeam Revu for most takeoffs. You receive the marked-up PDF and an Excel quantity sheet, so you don't need either program to use the results.
Can you take off from scanned or hand-drawn plans?
Yes, as long as the drawings have a usable scale or dimensions. If a scale is missing we calibrate from a known dimension and note it in the assumptions.
Can I get quantities split by phase or building?
Yes. Tell us how you want the quantities broken down, whether by floor, building, phase, area or alternate, and we'll set up the takeoff that way from the start.
What file formats do you accept?
PDF drawings are best. We also work from DWG/DXF files and from plan links on bid portals, Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive. Include specifications and addenda if you have them.
