On-site generation is now part of many commercial projects. We estimate solar PV arrays, battery energy storage, standby and prime generators, and the balance of system that connects them to the building and the grid.
Modules, racking, inverters and wiring are taken off from the PV drawings, and generators and storage are budgeted with their foundations, fuel systems and interconnection work.

Do you estimate solar projects?
Yes. We take off modules, racking, inverters, conduit and wire from the PV drawings.
Are emergency generators Division 26 or 48?
Many specs place standby generators in Division 26. Division 48 is used for power generation as a primary system. We price whichever the specifications use.
