Drywall, ceilings, flooring and painting estimates
Division 09 finishes estimating: drywall and metal stud framing, plaster, ceilings, tile, flooring, paint and wall coverings, taken off from plans and finish schedules.
Finishes are the trades that touch every room, so the finish schedule and the room finish legend drive the estimate. We take off framing, drywall, ceilings, flooring, tile and paint room by room against the schedules.
Wall types are measured by height and type with every layer of board, and flooring is measured with seams, base and transitions, so finish contractors can bid with accurate quantities.

Do you take off drywall by wall type?

Do you use the room finish schedule?
Yes. Flooring, base, wall finish and ceiling quantities are taken off room by room using the finish schedule.
