Calibrate
Each sheet is calibrated from a known dimension and checked.
Quantities measured in Bluebeam Revu with colour-coded markups and a markups list, exported to Excel and priced for your project.
Bluebeam Revu is the PDF tool most contractors already use to review drawings. Its measurement tools capture areas, lengths, perimeters, volumes and counts directly on the plans, and every markup is listed in a table that can be exported.
We use Bluebeam for takeoffs where visible, shareable markups matter: device counts for electrical and fire alarm, finish areas, wall lengths and revision comparisons when addenda change the drawings.
You receive the marked-up PDF, which opens in Bluebeam or any PDF reader, together with an Excel estimate organized by CSI division.
Each sheet is calibrated from a known dimension and checked.
Measurement tools are set up per material or device so markups stay consistent across sheets.
Areas, lengths and counts are drawn on the plans with clear colours and labels.
Overlay and compare tools highlight changes between drawing revisions for addenda pricing.
The markups list is exported and rolled up by trade and CSI section.
Quantities are priced in Excel and delivered with the marked-up PDF.
