Flooring Calculator
Estimate flooring material with waste, the number of boxes to order and material and installation cost for the most common commercial and residential floor finishes.
How the flooring calculator works
Enter the floor area and choose the flooring type. Each type loads a typical waste factor, box coverage and indicative material and labor prices, all of which you can overwrite with your own figures.
Waste covers cuts, pattern matching and attic stock. Tile and carpet tile usually need more waste than sheet goods or coatings.
An optional wall base length adds base at an indicative rate. For full projects, our flooring estimating service measures every room and finish from your drawings.
